A prolific Japanese favorite! One of the most distinctive flavored Asian pears, with notes of butterscotch, rum and spice. Fruit ripens in September and can keep til March! Resistant to fireblight. 400-500 chill hours. Heavy bearing and self-fertile, although it will bear more fruit if planted near another Asian pear variety.
