Description
Bears heavy yields of golden-bronze, medium-large round fruits with sweet, richly flavored flesh and crisp texture. Its fruits ripen from mid-August to September and store well for 2-3 months. A productive tree, Shinko Asian Pear exhibits excellent resistance to fire blight. Suggested varieties for pollination include: Chojuro, Drippin’ Honey, Olympic Giant, Shinseiki and 20th Century. Zones 5-9.
