We highly recommend potting up your new bare root plants with a quality organic compost or potting mix to allow them to grow some roots prior to planting them in the ground. Appropriate sizing of the container and paying attention to drainage is important. Watering thoroughly, and then allowing the soil to dry over the course of several days before watering again is best practice. These techniques will help you set your new plants up for success in their new environment!
