Tilton is a great variety for WNC! Not affected by late frosts or bad weather, it is a reliable producer of fine-flavored, heart shaped fruit. This variety is self-fertile, and grows to around 15 feet. Slightly larger than Moorpark.Although it does not need cross pollination, planting another apricot nearby could increase fruit production.
