Excellent, heavy-yielding variety of asparagus. Millennium was bred at the University of Guelph in Ontario by Dr. Dave Wolyn and is a superior variety in many ways. Tolerant of a variety of soil conditions, including our sticky heavy clay here in the Southeast. Millennium maintains tip tightness, has better vigor, and produces a higher proportion of male plants which yield more spears. Resistant to common rust.
