Prolific bearer of large red to black juicy cherries! An ideal pollinator of other dark sweet cherry varieties. Originating from the Circassian region of present day Russia, it was introduced to North America in the 1700s. The tree should begin producing fruit in 3-4 years from planting. Once mature, one tree can produce up to 4 bushels of cherries.
