Excellent wildlife and pollinator support plant native to the mountains of NC! Grows 15-25 tall, Allegheny serviceberry can be used in a variety of ways in the landscape. Although it will naturally take a multi-stemmed, shrubby form, it can be trained to a single trunk. This variety has tastier berries than standard serviceberry, similar to blueberries. Beautiful white flowers in the spring, followed by berries in June. Prefers well drained soils, tolerates part sun to shade.
